Q. Where did you move from, and how did you end up in the Woodstone neighborhood?
A. We moved from Prairie du Sac in a larger subdivision. We outgrew our first home and were looking to find space in a neighborhood with young families that had larger lots. Black Hawk Fields fit perfectly.

Q. Are there particular features or design elements that you are happy were incorporated into your new home?
A. We absolutely LOVE our barnwood wall in our master bedroom - such an awesome touch to make it feel warmer and bring that rustic feel. We also love the two story vaulted ceilings in our living room with the two story fireplace. The design in our kitchen also turned out wonderfullyand we love all the counter space and storage.

Q. Could you explain what it is about the neighborhood that you enjoy… or what drew you to living in your particular neighborhood?
A. We were very happy with the size of the lot but also to still have neighborhood feel. It is the perfect location - still close to town for a short commute for the kids activities but also a quick drive to the Madison area as well. We couldn't be happier with the neighborhood and our new neighbors!
Q. Were there any surprises of building and moving into a brand new home?
A. We were pleasantly surprised how easy the process was for us. Jacki and Dan were great throughout and really guided us through all the decisions making it a really enjoyable experience. We would definitely do it again.
Q. If you could offer advice about building, what would it be?
A. For us, it was really about having fun with it and making a decision and running with it without too much second guessing. You could drive yourself crazy by questioning every decision so you really have to go with the flow and trust your instincts!
