Q. Where did you move from, and how did you end up in the Red Hawk Valley neighborhood?
A. We lived in Sauk City for many years. We decided to look closer to Madison as we are close to be empty nesters. We decided on Red Hawk Valley neighborhood due to the beautiful scenery and larger lot sizes.

Q. Are there particular features or design elements that you are happy were incorporated into your new home?
A. Adding the columns in the living space to give a division to the kitchen and living space really brought the area together.

Q. Could you explain what drew you to living in your particular neighborhood?
A. Our neighborhood is in a great location and easily to get to Madison or the surrounding communities from many directions. The neighborhood is also located in a beautiful setting.
Q. Were there any surprises of building and moving into a brand new home?
A. Dan Sr. had done a great job of giving us ideas and helping with planning of our house. When the house was finished we were grateful for all of his suggestions especially with keeping of a second pantry off the laundry room and the placement of the back porch, as it looks over beautiful scenery.
Q. If you could offer advice about building, what would it be?
A. Always listen to the ideas of the builder and take them into consideration as sometimes you think it may not fit into the plans or budget, but for a little extra in the long run, it is totally worth it.
